The biggest ever vertical store in India solely for Men



BigShot Universe was inaugurated on 5th October by Shri Dhanji Bhai Savla, a Philanthropis Addressing a press conference jointly by Mr. Hemanth Savla, the young and dynamic designer-cum-Managing Director of Bigshot Group India and Mr. Dhanji Bhai Savla, they informed that the 11,500 S.ft. ‘Bigshot Universe’ will be a Fashion Superstore for Men. Located at the busy Station Road, opposite Pullareddy Sweets at Abids, the distinguishing factor about the vertical store, as Savlas put it is ‘huge’. Like the long unwinding corridors, spacious stalls, decked with the biggest international and national brands of fashion. The superbly built elevators transport customers through the orbit of space, into a world of leisure and luxury. And when the customer is through with the shopping, they can grab a bite at the cafeteria,.

Adding further the Savlas informed that the exclusive showroom they are planning will turn out to be beautiful and showcase various brands in wide variety of choices and price tags. “We have built up a brand that the customers can trust. We do not sell a product. We sell a complete look, add the Savlas. As if these weren’t daunting tasks, Bigshot Group, this time is also focusing on store-architecture. ‘Unless the ambience of the multi-brand shop is distinct, the purpose of setting up is defeated’, they informed.

The millennium meant a change to Mr. Hemanth Savla. He took the change seriously. Starting from Bigshot Designer in 1988, the maiden showroom of the group which was then the first mens store, the concept that was not in vogue in those days. The idea of fully mens store was ridiculed by the peers in the industry. Undeterred by the opposition, Hemanth worked hard towards achieving his goal. And within no time it was a big hit. Encouraged with the response for the first exclusive mens store, he came out with ‘Bigshot Gentleman’ that was followed by a 12 day long ‘Shirts Show’, which was met with a resounding success. Then came ‘Bigshot Gold’ - a store for premium and economy range, later ‘Bigshot World’--for kids and ladies, ‘Bigshot the Indian - a store with ethnic outfits, which will now to be converted into a 100 per cent blazers store. Encouraged by the continuous acceptance of latest and innovative concepts introduced by his group, he embarked on yet another innovative idea, ‘Bigshot Universe’.

Bigshot Universe, the exclusive mens super store, the 7th in series of mensstores introduced by the Bigshot Group, and that too in a radius of 4 kms. in and around Station Road at Abids, it will have a ground floor with three floors. The store plans to offer shirts of medium range in first floor; trousers, jeans and khakis in second floor and branded shirts in third floor. The brands include Cuff ‘N’ Collar, Trigger, Live-in-Jeans, Winstone, LouisPhilippe, Van Heusen, Allen Solly, Zodiac, Parx, Park Avenue, Scullers and IndigoNation. The uniqueness of the store is its fabulous ambience, great lighting, wide range of choice, amazingly low prices, which was the success formula adapted by Mr. Hemanth Savla in all his earlier stores. ‘If you don’t find your choicest clothes in Bigshot Universe, chances are that you don’t find anywhere else’ says Hemanth confidently.

The price range of shirts and trousers will be as low as Rs.150/- & 200/- and will be upwards to as high as Rs.1800/- and above. The idea behind such a wide range of price tags is to cater to all kinds of customers. As an introductory offer, the store plans to introduce Rs.50/- and Rs.100/- discount vouchers on branded products which can be redeemable against another purchase in the store. Thus they not only save on purchasing branded products but also will be shopping at competitive prices compared to exclusive brand showrooms.

Having designed outfits for leading Tollywood actors, Hemanth has been retailing clothes for over a decade. The two important factors in menswear, according to him, are the cut and fabric. Factors that have made his designs a success. Men are not fashion conscious as their women are. They often ignore the finer details of dressing.
