Javagreen is a nationwide chain of gourmet coffee
and food cafes from the Reliance Group. Set up

the Rs.70, 000 crores behemoth, Reliance users in
a new and exciting format of cafes to India.
Javagreen has been
designed as a neighborhood gourmet coffee shop
that is fast, friendly and fun. With hot and cold
coffee-based beverages, fine teas, granitas and
milk smoothies in a variety of international and
popular regional flavours as well as innovative
product offerings like paninis, pastries,
confections and other snacks, this retail format
introduces an exciting range of F&B products. The

Rs.15. Even the most expensive Hazelnut latte or
an icy cold Orange Milano (orange flavoured cold
coffee with cookies and whipped cream) would put
you back by just Rs.35. “We want Javagreen to be a
habit, not an indulgence,” says Nina Kothari,
daughter of Dhirubhai Ambani, who is closely
involved in mentoring Javagreen.
Investing in best-in-class equipment, back-end
processes, R&D, Javagreen targets to improve the
value offering to the end-customer. With special
emphasis on quality, Javagreen aims to deliver a
consistent service experience across the country.
In line with Reliance’s philosophy, it will be
benchmarked with the best and reflect all elements
that are world-class. Javagreen expects to be a
high quality Food & Beverage (F&B) operation with
all products at price points that delight the
discerning customer. “Father would always ask, why
cannot all Indians enjoy a global experience?”
reminisces Nina. And following her illustrious
father’s footsteps, she and her team have put in
place today something her father would be very
proud of!
Javagreen is currently operational as a
store-in-store format within 72 Reliance WebWorlds
across nine Indian cities - Chennai, Bangalore,
Hyderabad, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Pune, Mumbai, New
Delhi and Kolkata. Apart from the store-in-store
model, Javagreen will also have independent,
full-service, flagship outlets – the first such
outlet is already operational at Spencer Plaza,
the largest shopping mall in Chennai.
The sheer number of Javagreen stores planned –
over 250 retail outlets in 104 cities initially,
plus over 800 eventually in multiple formats will
create multiple customer touch points and build a
relationship with its customers. Javagreen aims to
be a business focused on continual value to its
customers on the backbone of an efficient business
operation.
