Hyderabad|India|November'2011: Colleges from south India
dominated at the CK Prahald National Business Quiz competition organized
by Vigyana Jyoti Institute of Management (VJIM) and partnered by FORE
School of Management, Delhi. All the 3 winners are Hyderabad colleges.
While Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology (SNIST) won the
competition, Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), became the first
runner-up and Bhavans Vivekananda Degree College the second runner up.
Over 105 Engineering and Management schools from all over the country
participated in the second edition of this quiz which is dedicated in the
memory of Late Mr. CK Prahalad, the renowned management guru and thinker.
While about 75 of them were from around south of India, the rest came from
as far as Gurgaon, Delhi, Mumbai and Pune. Famous quiz master Jaggi &
Cherian hosted the show that was partnered by FORE School of Management,
Delhi and sponsored DebriN Synergy.
Prof Jitendra Das, Director, FORE School of Management,Delhi said, “Events
like this provides a classic platform for budding managers to rub
shoulders with the best minds from across the country.”
“The CK Prahalad National Business Quiz running into its second year has
already gain popularity among students not only in southern colleges but
other parts of the country as well and next year we look forward to have
prelims at regional levels and reach to a larger section of student from
other streams as well.”, said, Prof. Durga Prasad, Dean of VJIM.
Vignana Jyothi is a non–profit organization founded by a group of
Industrialists, Academicians, Businessmen, NRI’s and Professionals of
Andhra Pradesh, who are known for achieving commendable results in their
respective fields.
