in its 5th successive year is all set to showcase a wide array of the
latest technology, IT, telecom, technology products and solutions
especially designed for the government, businesses and end-users.
Organised in collaboration with the Department of Information Technology,
Ministry of Communications and Information and Technology, Government of
India and hosted by the Department of Information Technology and
Communications, Government of Andhra Pradesh, eINDIA2009, is a three-day
international conference and exhibition, which brings together ICT
experts, practitioners, business leaders and stakeholders of the region,
onto one platform, through keynote addresses, paper presentations,
thematic workshops and exhibitions.
eINDIA2009 will be held at Hyderabad International Convention Centre,
Hyderabad, India, from 25th-27th August, 2009. The forum will be attended
by ICT professionals and experts from government, companies, civil society
organisations from India and across the world.
eINDIA2009, through its five seminal conferences, will focus on six
emerging application domains of ICT for Development - e-Governance,
Digital Learning, Telecentres, ICT enabled Health service, e-Agriculture,
Mobile application and services for development.
The Ministry of Panchayati Raj, the Department of Public Grievances and
Pensions are the Government Partners, Kerala IT Mission and Government of
West Bengal is the Government Partners to this event.
The leading IT companies such as IBM, Microsoft, Infosys, NIIT, Seimens,
SAP, Airtel, Epson, Hitachi, Panasonic, and so on, are participating in
the event and showcasing their IT solutions.
The event also has Euro-India ICT Co-operation project, Information and
Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka, Commonwealth Secretariat,
International Telecommunication Union, telecentre.org, Global e-Schools
and Communities Initiative, Indian Council for Agriculture Research,
UgaBYTES, Communications and Manufacturing Association of India, Internet
Society, Gedaref Digital City Organisation as its eminent partners.
eINDIA2009 will house various IT, Telecom and Technology companies ranging
from large businesses to small and medium enterprises from India and the
globe. eINDIA2009 will help in a greater way to build strong business
alliances and improve market penetration both in G2B, B2B and G2C
segments.
