UK’s Consumer champion Which? announces arrival of its consumer
magazine ‘Right Choice’ in Hyderabad
Promises to make 2011 a year of
informed buying and super savings for consumers by being a truly unbiased
guide

Hyderabad|India|February'2011:
Europe’s biggest consumer
organisation, Which?, introduced its first consumer magazine ‘Right
Choice’ to Hyderabad today. Reflecting the ethos of its parent
organisation, Right Choice is designed to be a completely independent and
unbiased magazine that is primarily supported by subscription and sale on
the news stands. In the wake of slick advertising and overwhelming
choices, Right Choice provides consumers with a lever to choose better and
safer products at competitive rates.
With the marketplace in India undergoing a significant transformation in
the past 15 years, the Indian consumers are facing the dilemma of
over-choice. Decision-making has become a complex process, whether it is
buying a brand of masala or buying a car, often leave the buyer perplexed.
In such a scenario, Right Choice endeavours to address this confusion by
providing unbiased information and scientific buying advice to the Indian
consumers.
Every month Right Choice conducts independent and rigorous tests on a
range of products and services. Televisions, mobile phones, mixer
grinders, shampoos, travel sites, multiplexes are all measured against
criteria such as durability, energy efficiency and reliability so that
Right Choice can bring to the buyers an unbiased guide backed by expert
buying advise.
Yohaan Dattoobhai, Managing Director at Which? Right Choice, says:
“Which? In the UK has been helping people to make smarter choices for more
than 50 years, by giving expert advice and recommending products and
services that stand up to the most rigorous testing. With the launch of
Right Choice in India, we aim to bring the same advantage to the consumers
here. By subscribing to Right Choice, the people of Hyderabad will get the
expert advice they need on products and services that matter to them, from
electronics to home appliances, credit cards and electricity providers.”
With the consumer as the centre of all its activities, Right Choice goes
to great lengths to retain its identity as the unbiased guide. It
functions on a strict ‘no advertisements and only test-backed
recommendations’ policy. With its launch in the city of nawabs, Right
Choice promises to give Hyderabadis a truly independent and authoritative
support that will help them arrive at the right buying decision while
saving them precious time, money and effort.
