great artisanal traditions in a unique fashion.
European designers have always used Indian
workmanship and now we will see a new fusion of

creating a garment to the fore and educate the

About Tarun Tahiliani Bridal Couture Exposition
2009 & 2010 : In 2009, the theme of Tarun
Tahiliani Bridal Couture Exposition was the
different scenes at an Indian Wedding. Because of
the nature of the product, the theatrical setting
was created, based on Diana Vreeland’s famous
‘Costumes of Royal India’ show at the Metropolitan
Museum of Art.
In 2010, the theme for the Tarun Tahiliani Bridal
Couture Exposition was ‘The Procession.’ A unique
theatrical setting was produced and around the
celebration of the ‘Procession’ a ‘Son et Lumiere’
was created with a staggering procession, clothes,
jewels, and accessories arranged with live
performers on interactive models, fibre glass
animals in traditional livery and luxury cars. The
Bridal Couture Exposition was a matchless
confluence of traditional Indian and colonial
furniture, antiques and objects d’art in a lavish
and palatial set-up at DLF Emporio.
